Company ELASTA - VESTIL, a.s. is manufacturer of elastic and rigid ribbons since 1896. Originally a family company based in Krucemburk has currently over 80 employees and is using modern and proven machines from Swiss and German producers. For more than 125-year ELASTA - VESTIL, a.s. delivers wide range of woven elastic ribbons, rigid tapes and ready-made braces. 

Amongst satisfied customers are leading fashion garments manufacturers, luggage manufacturers, shoemakers, medical and orthopaedical producers and others. Offers rich collection of designs and colourways prepared in cooperation with Italian design studio. Provides extended service of product development and sampling according to the customer's specific requirements such as various technical parameters, features, colour and possibility of printed or woven logotypes and other graphic motifs. The entire range is certified in accordance to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 for the health safety and quality management system is certified in conformity with ISO 9001.

ON THE MARKET FOR MORE THAN 120 YEARS...

1896
Vilém Štill, a general merchant in Krucemburk, establishes a hand-made shoe spring company.

1919
Handing over the company into the hands of his son, Mr. Vladimír Štill.
The production is already mechanized, ribbon stocks are powered by gasoline engines, at this time.

1925
Expansion of the offer from shoe springs to suspender and garter rubber and transfer of production to new modern premises (new machines, new and larger workshops, steam heating, electric lighting).

1945

Destroyed company buildings during the raid.
A new building was built on the site of the destroyed building (offices, expeditions and a warehouse for finished products were located here).

1948
Nationalization of the company "V. Štill, mechanical weaving mill for rubber goods" and integration of buildings and production equipment into a national company.

1958
Specializing in the production of elastics for footwear and clothing, braces and belt springs.

1970

Renovation of buildings and modernization of production technology, which enabled the processing of new materials and expansion of the product range.

1990
Establishment of the state enterprise ELASTA.

1992
The grandchildren of the original founder privatize the plant by direct purchase and change the name to ELASTA - VESTIL, spol. s.r.o. production of elastic ribbons.

1996
The company has celebrated 100 years of founding the company and is a recognized European manufacturer of flexible and rigid ribbons.

2018
A new sales department is created and the company is transformed from ELASTA - VESTIL, spol. s.r.o. at ELASTA - VESTIL, a.s.
